Yourefolio

With the passing of the father of the CEO and Co-Founder, Scott Huff created the need to create a Yourefolio. As an investment advisor, Scott had assisted many client’s when either they passed or a loved one passed on. Each time brought its own challenge but not until it hit home was it realized how difficult and stressful this time can be. Along with grieving, having to gather burial details, transfer of assets, attending to property and other assets along with generalities was overwhelming and stressful. There had to be a better way that was less stressful and easier.

Thus, making lemons into lemonade, everything associated with moving forward could be made much more bearable. Yourefolio is a software program that aggregates all the documents, instructions and information that may need to be accessed by clients and beneficiaries during a time of passing. Yourefolio makes any unfortunate circumstance more manageable by providing access to documents, information and instruction such as disability coverage, long term care and even the loss of a passport when travelling. Yourefolio is driven by financial advisors, certified financial planners, estate planning attorneys and insurance professionals. Early rapid growth has resulted in hundreds of users and has assisted many customers and professionals. Yourefolio has developed early relationships with the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Estate Planners and Counsels.

The company received a $100,000 Innovation Fund B award in 2015 and will use the funds to develop critical integrations allowing an easier onboarding process and securing hundreds of additional subscribers. As the business expands, Yourefolio plans on hiring significant staffing to make an economic impact in Northeastern Ohio.

Renewable Carbon & Electric

At Renewable Carbon & Electric (RCE), we strive to make a difference in how energy is produced and how products are made, in order to shift to a more sustainable way of balancing our natural resources. Petroleum products and coal will never be completely replaced, but a balance can be created with more renewable resources to make humanity safer and to preserve the environment. It is our team’s belief that energy can be made from natural resources such as wood to produce energy that has a neutral carbon footprint, and by substituting raw materials made of wood for petroleum based materials currently used in the manufacture of products. Wood based products are cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and perform as good as or better than the oil based materials being used today. Although the founders of RCE come together through diverse backgrounds, each has a goal to reduce environmental problems faced by the world due to coal power. Founding members of RCE bring together a wealth of knowledge and networks they will utilize to grow RCE to an innovative leader in the field of wood product specialty manufacturing.

RCE creates client specific products through; development and analysis of client needs, consulting with industry experts on effective processes for maximum product benefits, and applying tried and true methods of manufacturing technology. RCE processes renewable biomass through a patented calciner which de-volatizes the material, thereby producing sufficient thermal energy to achieve the process with minimal external energy needed to perpetuate the cycle. Depending on the client needs the carbon that is left behind is manipulated for specific market requirements. The products RCE is capable of producing is far reaching through multiple market segments and represents several billion dollars in revenue. The growth rates in our chosen markets are projected to be in the double digits for the next several years. RCE has identified potential clients across several growth markets and is currently pursuing contracts with these clients.

NueVue Solutions, Inc. (NVS) is developing a new platform technology called Theranostic Hybrid Spectral Molecular Imaging (THSMI). This technology is both an therapeutic technology and imaging technology utilizing custom designed functional nano particles coupled with new spectral molecular imaging technology to target and track cells in the body. NVS is focusing on medical applications of Orthopedics, Stroke, and Cancers.

Theranostic Hybrid Spectral Molecular Imaging is the combination of X-ray “Spectral Molecular Detection” and “Spectral Signature Image Processing” technologies combined with “Targeted Functionalized Nano Particles”. Theranostics is the combination of diagnostics and therapy. NVS is combining pharmaceutical technology and spectral molecular imaging technology for early identification of materials and diseases for targeted therapy and cures in the body.

NVS was founded by William K. McCroskey-President/CEO, James P. Sacher-CFO and global business development entrepreneurs, and medical imaging device and drug development scientists and engineers. NVS is planning to use the Glide Innovation funds to implement NVS’s Hybrid Spectral Detector Modules(HSMI) and HSMI Signature image processing with functionalized gold nano particles. NVS is doing a Series A of $4M to develop Theranostic Hybrid Spectral Molecular Imaging System and Targeted Nano particles for Stroke therapy, Orthopedic infections, and for lung, breast, colon, and prostate cancer therapy. The Series A will enable NVS to build R&D Clinical prototypes for early adopter validation of the Theranostic Hybrid Spectral Molecular Imaging and functionalized nano particle contrast and therapy agents. With these proof of concepts, NVS will aggressively develop early adopter sales and market acceptance to build a $60M - $80M rapidly growing business by 2020 in a $200B Theranostics market.
